Public Pension Coordinating Council Survey

Welcome to the Public Pension Coordinating Council's Survey Web Site. The 2001 Survey of State and Local Government Employee Retirement Systems is now available on-line. Just click the links on the left to view the survey report (requiring Adobe Acrobat 4.0 or higher), examine individual system/plan responses, query selected survey data, or download the full database as an Access file. The Council thanks Jennifer Harris, Executive Director of the Public Retirement Institute, for administering the survey and writing the survey report.

The Council's goals are to coordinate the legislative efforts of its organizations, to promote excellence in plan design and administration, and to conduct periodic surveys of state and local retirement systems. The Council is composed of executive officers from three national associations serving state and local government retirement system administrators:

National Association of State Retirement Administrators
National Conference on Public Employee Retirement Systems
National Council on Teacher Retirement

In addition, the Government Finance Officers Assocation assisted with survey funding.
